As a pregnancy and postpartum exercise specialist, Dr. Harmon helps women through pregnancy safe exercises as well as facilitate healing after baby. She is trained to help with diastasis recti (separation of the abs), pelvic floor issues (such as leaking or minor prolapse), back ache, poor posture and many other conditions. What to expect:
You will learn about your pelvic floor, core and glute muscles. Everything we do in the office is external and focuses on muscular queuing. This includes breathing techniques that help with pressure management. Depending on what other issues you are dealing with, we will add in specific strengthening exercises.
When Should I come in?
Please come in at any stage of pregnancy. If you just found out, you are pregnant it gives us nearly 9 months to work on building up your strength for delivery. Which increases your chances of having and smoother delivery and healing quicker afterwards. If you are postpartum, come in as soon as you feel comfortable! You are more than welcome to bring your baby and breastfeed in the office. (Please add a comment on your appointment when booking online so that I can make sure we have adequate time)

So, I decided to continue my education and specialize in pregnancy and postpartum exercise.
